Life Priority: LET’S MAKE OF INTENSIVE CARE MEDICINE OUR PRIORITY

Created in 2011, the LIFE-PRIORITY Fund is ESICM’s fund and public awareness arm.

ESICM, the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine, works for the promotion, recognition and improvement of intensive care medicine.

This scientific society, created in 1982 in Geneva and based in Brussels, is an international non-profit organisation that counts almost 6500 intensive care professional members, all around not only in  Europe but around the world.

LIFE PRIORITY HAS THREE MAIN GOALS IN EUROPE:

1. TO COLLECT FUNDS…

In order to finance research programmes, professional training, and initiatives which aim to further support intensive care patients and their families.

2.TO CREATE AWARENESS…

Amongst public institutions, companies, and the public to the importance of intensive care

3. TRAIN…

As many people as possible to be able to do the essential gestures of cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

BECAUSE INTENSIVE CARE WORKERS GIVE PRIORITY TO OUR LIFE, LET’S GIVE PRIORITY TO INTENSIVE CARE
